Nurse Practitioner – General Surgery

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join their growing General Surgery group in La Grange or Bolingbrook (location to be determined).

• Experience as an APP in General Surgery, preferred, new grads considered
• Full time 1.0 FTE
• Monday – Friday clinic at La Grange practice
• Call requirement to be determined depending on location
• Primary duties: outpatient clinic, hospital rounding and new consultations
• No OR responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with General Surgeons in the practice
• Busy and well-established practice; ability to “hit the ground running”, a plus
• EPIC EMR

• Annual salary: $105K - $118K

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
