APP – Inpatient Palliative Care

We have an excellent opportunity for an APN looking to practice inpatient Palliative Care in the western Chicago Suburbs with UChicago Medicine AdventHealth.

• Full time with flexible schedule, as long as it meets the needs of the department
• One Saturday per month to be available for any consults which would come in
• No Call
• Medication and symptom management for palliative patients
• Must be comfortable working with families and having discussions about care for their loved ones

• Annual Salary: $105K - $118K

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master's degree in Nursing

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office.
• ACLS Certification, required
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Credentials are verified by local staff credentialing office
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.
